FAQ: Accommodation

Do I need to book accommodation with my course?

No. You can book your Spanish course without accommodation.

When is my accommodation available?

Your accommodation is available from the Sunday afternoon before your course starts until the Saturday morning after your last day at school.
Please let us know if you arrive earlier or depart later so that we can change your accommodation booking accordingly.

Can I change accommodation?

Yes you can. However, you most likely will have little need to, as Mediterráneo Spanish Centre has developed a strict quality code together with our host families and landlords. This code specifies amongst other things that your linen and towels should be clean, that your room should be tidy and clean before you arrive and that all furniture and appliances should be in good working order.

You can change accommodation once, free of charge, with no questions asked (other than your suggestions with regard to how we might improve upon the accommodations we offer). If you want to change again, and we are not in breech of our quality code, then a surcharge applies of € 50 per change.
Please note: Especially Barcelona and Madrid are densely populated cities where rooms are often not as large as students expect and where the flat is often occupied as well by the landlord (you will still have your freedome to come and go as you please).
