Pick-up Fees

We offer a pickup service the 24 hours from Valencia airport or bus/ train station to the centre or to your accommodation in Valencia.

General Polices and Dates

Enrolment and Reservations

To register for any of our courses, please complete our on-line enrolment form or contact us via email, telephone, or fax. In your e-mail, include details such as the duration, type of course, and accommodation desired. Please note that your enrolment will be confirmed only when we receive the deposit of 120 euros. The amount of the deposit will be applied to the overall fee. Once we receive the deposit we will send you confirmation of your enrolment (which can be used to obtain a visa if necessary).

To insure your enrolment in the desired course, we recommend that you sign up for your course at least one month prior to the date you wish to begin. If you wish to cancel your registration or wish to switch to another course, we ask that you inform us as soon as possible.

Your deposit will be refunded fully given that we are informed at least four weeks prior to the beginning of the course. If we are not informed by the specified time, we will retain your deposit to cover our expenses. However, this deposit is valid for any course you wish to take within a one-year period of the original registration.

In no case whatsoever will money for the course/accommodation be refunded once the course has started (except in the case of the refund guarantee).

CANCELLATION GUARANTEE.

We recommend our special guarantee of cancellation. The cost of this guarantee is 5% of the total sum of the invoice. With this guarantee, we refund the sum of the course, accommodation and extras (excluded from this refund are the enrolment costs, the time already spent, the sum of the guarantee clause and the journey). This guarantee is personal and non-transferable and will be applicable to the following cases: work, examination, illness (of both the student and a family member), pregnancy, or the obligation of doing military service.

In case any of the services are not in accordance to the brochure, you must report your complaint in writing to the school secretariat within the first week after arrival. Mediterráneo Spanish Centre will rectify the situation with 2 working days. If the services are still not in accordance with the brochure description, there are 2 possibilities:

Mediterráneo Spanish Centre agrees with you and will refund the total amount of the course and lodging price.

If Mediterráneo Spanish Centre does not come to an agreement with you, your complaint will be handled by an independent arbitration commission of the regional Spanish government. The appointed arbitrator will decide whether your complaints is worthy of the money-back guarantee.

Deadlines

Registration and enrollment fee: 75 euros. The prices given are for the year 2008. To ensure course and accommodation availability, we recommend that you make your reservations well in advance of the date your wish to begin.

Method of Payment

The deposit can be paid through a bank transfer or a cheque made payable to: Mediterráneo Spanish Centre .All the necessary bank information is located on the enrolment form . The remainder of the fees can be paid in person, by cash or cheque, upon the commencement of the course. Also you can pay with credit cards.

Discounts

We offer a 5% discount to 2 students registering together, a 10% discount to groups of 3 students, and a 15% discount to groups of 4 or more. In addition, we offer a 10% discount to returning students.

Financial Aid: Reduction for long-lasting courses for students belonging to Specific Programs (Erasmus, Socrates, etc.): 275.- EUROS.

Pick-up Services

We offer a pickup service from Valencia airport or bus/ train station to the centre or to your accommodation in Valencia.

Health Insurance.

Students should come to Spain having an International Health Insurance from his/her country of origin for receiving medical care (E/111 for EU members). Also, we also offer private full medical insurance at an extra charge.

We recommend that students from non EU countries take out a medical insurance policy provided by Mediterráneo Spanish Centre that guarantees coverage for the illnesses stipulated in this insurance.
